Charlotte Convention Center Renovation
The Charlotte Convention Center Renovation project is an addition and renovation to the existing Charlotte Convention Center. The project will create an additional 125,000 square feet of meeting, conference, and communicating space as well as add pedestrian bridges to connect to the Stonewall Light Rail stop.
Charlotte Airport Terminal Lobby Expansion
The Charlotte Terminal Lobby Expansion consists of an expansion to the North of the existing terminal lobby at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The expansion will create additional space for security lanes, ticketing, and baggage claim areas, as well as increased circulation space in the lobby. In addition to the expansion, a canopy will be added over the new 8 lane elevated roadway in front of the terminal lobby.
Charlotte Country Day School
Charlotte Country Day School challenges students to “Rise to the Forefront” in all that they do. That same mantra is shared by the Balfour Beatty/Edison Foard team as we build structures and spaces that influence current and future Buccaneers to achieve their best, both in and out of the classroom. The initial program consisted of three phases constructing and renovating five (5) buildings over three years.
Northern Regional Rec Center
The facility will be a multi-use, multi-generational recreation complex that will serve the northern communities of Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville. The project began in early 2019 with the pre-design phase, including a series of workshops and public engagement sessions to determine the mission, vision, and goals for the facility. The Center’s amenities will include indoor aquatics, sports courts, fitness center, indoor track, multi-use event rooms, catering kitchen, child watch areas, and classrooms. The Center is currently under construction with an anticipated completion date of Fall 2021.
