DEWalker/ Edison Foard LLC have begun their next joint venture project at Seymour Johnson AFB, Goldsboro, NC. This is the third MACC project for the joint venture. The work includes establishment of modular office trailers for relocation of the staff for temporary quarters while their 16,000 sf office space in Building 2903 is renovated. Renovations include asbestos abatement, removal of all existing materials, existing mechanical, existing electrical systems. The building reusing the the existing exterior walls and interior bearing walls will be refurbished with new drywall walls and upgraded interior finishes to create multiple offices, breakroom and restroom facilities. The upgraded facility will serve over 250 military personnel and civilians.

The project also includes the installation of new operable windows meeting ATFP criteria, storefront entrances and VRF mechanical system to compliment the low head room structure. New electrical systems including LED lighting, energy management systems for Base coordination, and a new fire alarm system and wet fire sprinkler system. The project will be completed in 415 days, with occupancy scheduled for October 2015.
